3 Ways to Get Over Rejection
As human beings we have strong urge to feel secure. But after rejection your sense of security is threatened, you may feel sick, abandoned, hopeless and scared. There is no doubt that often these feelings can so often lead to security.
But you should always remember Criticism and rejection are very much part of life – everyone gets criticized and rejected! Here are ways to deal with rejection in positive way:-
1. Let it out:
Your pain is real and therefore your reaction is understandable. But don’t stuck in this state .Feel this feeling and begin to rebuild your confidence with positive approach towards life. Find someone with whom you can share your feelings might be BFF, sibling, parent and therapist.
2. Write it:
Cry if it helps. If your shy and introvert like me then I suggest you to pen your all resentment and bitterness on piece of paper.
3. Stay Healthy:
Exercise daily and eat good food. Anger and nervous energy gets burned it off as you exercise and thus it is helpful to channel your energy into physical aggressive activities.
No matter your age and background came from, rejection happens to everyone at one point of life. Overcoming rejection is about facing your challenges and learn from them.Dont forget rejection may be actually a blessing to make better and stronger you.
