Most important goals in life are personal tranquility and peace of mind, yet they are hard to attain if you are living your life with somebody else rules.
One day, a school teacher asked a student to describe himself. The student replied back by telling his name, what his parents did and where he resided. The teacher said that her question remained unanswered.
Coming to our lives, without even our noticing it, we too act in a similar fashion. What we think, what we wear, what we eat, whatever we do, we will always have someone at the back of our minds. The result is, we do things that make others happy. Here’s a question, how logical is this pattern wherein you allow your life to be tailored by someone else? Not much, I guess. So, here’s the deal. Realize that it is your life and nobody gets to control it. Learn to take decisions for yourself and also the responsibility that comes with it. Find out who you are as a person. Take a dive within yourself and hunt for those pearls within yourself that are hidden in the oysters inside you. Nobody would do that for you but you.
1.Learn to take risks- Big or small, enjoy all that you have that makes you, you. When you are being yourself, it is easier to see what you want out of life and what is truly important to you.
2.Grow your strengths-You know exactly who you are as a person and those around you can see it as well. In order to be you, you must grow a backbone and have thick skin. No one knows what makes you truly need to be happy other than yourself.
This is an important concept to realize because you will never please yourself if you are constantly trying to please other people instead.
